Welcome Bonus: 100% up to £200

Bet365’s welcome bonus is the biggest in the business at a whopping £200/€200/$400. That’s a hefty free bet in anyone’s currency and a fantastic offer, and with it being a 100% matched bonus on anything from £10/€10/$20 right up to the £200 maximum, those looking for a smaller freebie or people wanting to take the whole lot will benefit.

Your bonus will be added as soon as you have placed a bet with the original deposit and you can withdraw any winnings once your deposit and bonus have been rolled over at least three times at minimum odds of 1/2 (1.50). You have 90 days to complete the wagering requirements, which is more generous than many.

Other Promotions

Bet365 have loads of other regular promotions that will appeal to fans of all sports. One of the best is their dedicated mobile free bet that offers new customers to their superb mobile site a £50/€50/$100 free bet in addition to the initial £200 welcome bonus.

Racing fans are especially well catered for at Bet365 with the bookie’s fantastic 4/1 offer which offers a free bet for each winner you back at 4/1 or more in a featured race (with no limit on the number of freebies you can receive). Their also have a price promise, which means they match (or better) the odds on all ITV races compared to those available at their main rivals, and the fact they offer best odds guaranteed on every single race means you’ll never be kicking yourself when you take the early price and it drifts right out before the race. Bet365 also offer best odds guaranteed on every greyhound race, along with a similar 2/1 free bet offer available too.

Football fans should not feel left out either, with bonuses on trebles and upwards and their Bore Draw promotion on ALL matches which offers refunds on various bets if a game ends 0-0. Various money back promotions are offered intermittently on big matches too.

With 50% bonuses on European basketball accumulators and a great offer on all rugby (league and union) matches that go to extra time there really is a promotion for everyone at Bet365.

Odds & Markets

One of the reasons bet365 have made it to the top of the online betting industry is by consistently providing odds that simply smash their competitors out of the park. We wont go as far as saying they are best priced in everything that they do, but you can almost be guaranteed that you are getting as close to the best price in the industry as to makes no difference. Football is the hub of the site, but unlike most bookmakers the prices aren’t just strong for this sport. In fact, we know that a lot of tennis bettors will only ever use bet365 due to the coverage and the consistent odds that they offer their punters.

You’re not really going to be able to trump bet365 when it comes to its market coverage and whilst we may be going out on a limb here, we think they have the largest sportsbook in the industry. The usual suspects are all there, but it’s the sports that are slightly lesser known such as handball, UFC, e-sports and even virtual betting that add to the overall package. What we found from bet365 is that they don’t just offer these as token sports, but they have a full coverage for every sport that’s on the site, arguably making them the best in the business.

Bet365 Features Screenshot

As you would expect from such a giant betting firm, Bet365 have loads more to offer beside free bets. Their in-play console, heavily advertised with the help of Ray Winstone, is among the best around, with a host of statistical support and a massive range of markets. This also works very well with their live steaming facility which allows you to watch masses of events, including horse racing, basketball, football, tennis and more.

They also have a variety of fairly novel features - including the ability to cash out a bet early using their 'Close Bet' option. The principle is very similar to hedging you bet to either guarantee a profit, or reduce your loses, but without the hassle or need for additional exposure. You can cash out bets on selected markets from a variety of sports including football (soccer), tennis and basketball and both pre-match and in-play bets are eligible.

As mentioned previously, their mobile site and app is also top notch, ably supported by the only permanent, dedicated mobile free bet available from one of the industry’s big boys. It’s quick, easy to use and also comes with plenty of live streaming options too.

Bet365 also have superb customer service options, available 24/7 by live chat, email and telephone and all in all they are simply one of the very best bookmakers around.

In Play Betting

Bet365 are widely regarded as the best in the business when it comes to betting in-play. They have an insane number of sports and markets to choose from and their coverage is rivalled by very few in the industry. The best feature here though has to be the link with the match centre, which allows you to keep up to date with instant events happening in a match. For sports such as football you will be able to see exactly where the ball is on the pitch at any given time and if a dangerous attack is currently happening or not. The section is also linked up to live statistics from that match, which might include number of corners, possession, shots on goal, yellow/red cards and more.

Live Streaming

Again, very few bookmakers can get close to the live streaming that bet365 currently offer. The site currently shows over 40,000 live stream every single year, although we feel that this number is fairly conservative given the number of stream currently on offer. What’s great about bet365’s service is that they have higher profile matches than most, such as La Liga in football and even games from the Cricket World Cup a couple of years ago.

All you need to do to access is the live streams is have a funded bet365 account or to have placed a bet within the last 24 hours. One notable omission from this section is that of horse racing, which does limit the number of streams shown quite considerably.

Cash Out

You’re going to be able to access the cash out system at bet365 with pretty much all bets that you place. You will find that they do become limited to games/markets that they don’t turn in play. The cash out section also comes complete with the cash out slider, meaning that you can partially cash out your bet if you choose to and let the rest run.

The stats section is another one taken from the Bet Rader portal. Here you can access dozens of sports with a mix of statistics for each. Sports such as football and tennis have some excellent statistics to allow you to make much more informed decision about your bet.

High Street Betting Shops

Bet365 are widely regarded as one the biggest and most successful bookmakers in the world. But, a common misconception with the company is that they have been strictly online based since the company’s integration in 2000. This is part true, but back then, the founder, Denise Coates owned a plethora of high street bookmakers that was run by her under her family estate.

The estate was started up in 1974 by Peter Coates and it these were all running up until the launch of bet365 in 2000 by Denise. The family ended up selling the whole fleet of betting shops to bookmakers Coral in 2005 for £40 million and decide to solely give their time to their online platform.

In those days, it was seen as a very bold move and in some cases, they called foolish. But bet365 is now arguably the biggest bookmaker in the industry, pulling in revenue of over £1.5 billion in 2015 and employing over 3,000 people in numerous countries across the UK, Europe and the World.

About Bet365

Bet365 are one of the most successful bookmakers in the betting industry and now boast a massive database of players along with over 3,000 employees around the world. The brand is based out of Stoke-On-Trent and are one of few that have remained in the UK instead of moving their company aboard. But, they do hold licenses in Gibraltar and also run head offices out of Australia as well.

Bookmaker Denise Coates first formed Bet365 in 2000. It was Coates who started the brand as an extension to their portfolio of high street bookmakers in an attempt to target wealthy, overseas punters. As the market continued to grow for bet365, the high street stores were sold off in an attempt to concentrate on their online business. It’s safe to say this proved to be a shrewd move and in 2015 the company reported record revenue figures of over £1.5 Billion.

Over their time in the industry, bet365 have won several prestigious awards, including eGaming Review Operator of the Year award in 2010. Bet365 also managed to rank 3rd in the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 league table, which highlights impressive growth figures for UK businesses. Other notable awards have come for the founder of the company, Denise Coates, earning a CBE in 2012 for services tot the community and business. In 2013, Coates was also named one of the most powerful women in the UK but BBC Radio 4.
