To enter you need to register to play, although Sky Bet customers automatically receive an entry, and you can enter just once each week. In every weekly round you will be asked to predict the exact scores in six matches with entries closing at 3pm on Saturday.

To win the jackpot prize of £250,000 you need to get the correct scores of all six games. In the event of a tie the entrant who got closest to the Golden Goal (time of the first goal in the six matches) will scoop the prize and should that be a tie the jackpot will be divided between the winners.

In addition to the main prize there is also a weekly competition worth £5,000 available to the player who scored the most points but didn’t win the jackpot. Points are allocated as follows: five points for a correct score and two points for a correct result. Should more than one player tie the same rules as for the main Super 6 £250,000 prize will apply.

There is a further £1,000 bonus available to the weekly winner if they managed to correctly get the exact score in five of the matches. Not quite £250,000 but still a nice little bonus. There is a further prize available for the most successful player across the entire season. The player who accrues the most points will win £2,000, with the most correct scores being used in the event of ties (if it is still a tie then the closest player to the Golden Goal in the last week both players took part will win).

Sky often offer various other prizes throughout the season and there is also a private league prize available to the chairman of the private league with the highest average points total. That’s a lot of prizes and a lot of money for a competition that is very simple to enter and totally free to take part in.

As well as the main competition Super 6 also offer the option of joining and running leagues. Anybody can set up a league for free, meaning that as well as shooting for the main prize you can also compete against your friends or colleagues. Leagues are private and you'll need a code to join.

There obviously wont be an official prize for a league that you've create so you'll just be playing for bragging rights, although there's nothing to stop you organising a prize yourselves and many websites, groups and organisations run leagues with some kind of bounty for the winner.
