Tuscan Grand Prix Betting Tips
Note: The following tips are from the 2020 grand prix. Tips for next year will be added the week of the race.

The 2020 Tuscan Formula One Grand Prix will take place at the Mugello circuit in Tuscany, Italy this Sunday. This will be the first ever F1 GP to be held at this tremendous venue, which opened way back in 1974. In this strange season of double-headers, it will be the second race in Italy in the space of a week and the ninth Grand Prix of an unforgettable 2020 season.
We were treated to a remarkable 2020 Italian Grand Prix last weekend. It will go down as one of the most memorable races of Formula One history, with so many incidents and talking points at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. Pierre Gasly, who was priced at odds as high as 2,000/1 pre-race, took advantage to win his first ever race in Formula One, just beating Carlos Sainz to the line. Gasly became the first French winner since 1996.
With Sunday’s contest being the first at the Tuscan circuit, we could be in for another unpredictable afternoon. Will we see another surprise winner, or will it be back to business as usual for the big guns? Last week one lucky Finnish punter landed a bet at odds of 166,000/1 by naming the podium of Pierre Gasly, Sainz and Lance Stroll, taking home more than €33,000 from a bet of 20 cents. Somehow we think this week’s race will be a little less bizarre and our money is on the favourite.
Lewis Hamilton to Win & Get the Fastest Lap – 11/4
Championship leader Lewis Hamilton was seemingly on his way to a routine victory at Monza last weekend. The Brit was dominant once again, but the 35-year-old’s fortunes changed dramatically when he was given a penalty after stopping when the pit lane was closed. Two safety cars caused chaos with the race order, with Gasly making the most of his opportunity. Lewis battled back from last spot to take home seventh place, which was his worst finish of the season so far.
If the defending World Champion can avoid incident at Mugello this weekend, he should cruise to a sixth Grand Prix victory of the year. Hamilton has already won in Styria, Hungary, Britain, Spain and Belgium. The Stevenage-born man has prevailed on Italian ground on five occasions in his illustrious career thus far – will he make that six this weekend in the inaugural Tuscan GP? Hamilton is priced at 11/4 to win the race and get the fastest lap in the sensational Tuscan countryside on Sunday and we fancy him for the double.
Pierre Gasly Top Six Finish – 6/4
Pierre Gasly had the race of his life last weekend to fend off Spaniard Carlos Sainz to secure his first ever Formula One race win. The Frenchman has dusted himself down after last season’s disappointment, turning himself into one of the best drivers on the circuit. The AlphaTauri-Honda man sits eighth in the standings after eight rounds and will surely be bursting with confidence ahead of this Grand Prix.
The circumstances worked in his favour last week, but the 24-year-old still had to keep his cool and get the job done when the race resumed. Gasly has been very consistent so far this term, finishing in the top 10 in Austria, Britain, Spain, Belgium and, of course, Italy. The French ace will be riding on the crest of a wave at the moment, and we fancy him to have another fine Grand Prix in Italy this weekend. Have a punt on Gasly to finish in the top six on Sunday at nice odds of 6/4.
