The PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year Award is an annual honour voted on by members of the Professional Footballers Association in Scotland. This is announced at the same awards evening as the PFA Scotland Player of the Year Award.
As with the English young players award, to be nominated players must be 21 years of age or younger at the start of the season in question. Celtic players have won this accolade more than any other club though eight other clubs are represented on the honours list.
The first PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year Award was handed out in 1978 to Dundee United winger Graeme Payne.
